Let me warn you right now this really is the best caramel apple dip ever, and it’s crazy addictive! There’s just something about fall that makes me crave caramel apples. Bonfires, smores, ghost stories and eating caramel apples, these are the things on my fall to-do list that just has to be checked off! The only bad thing is traditional caramel apples are MESSY! Can you really eat one and not make a mess? Not me, LOL! That’s why this caramel apple dip is PERFECT. You can have the taste you love without the mess!
Easy, Easy, Easy, this recipe is so simple! Cream Cheese, sugar, caramel dip, and the topping of your choice. I have made it with different toppings, Heath toffee bits, chopped peanuts, and I’ve topped with both! My personal favorite is strictly the chopped peanuts. It gives it that traditional caramel apple taste that I crave. You could also add Halloween sprinkles to make it even more festive, and of course the kiddos are going to LOVE that! You just can’t go wrong, or mess this recipe up!
Let your cream cheese set out at room temp to soften, it makes mixing it with the sugar much easier.
I use Marzetti old fashioned caramel dip, you can use whatever your favorite is.
The dip is best served at room temp. You could definitely make in advance and refrigerate, I would just let it set out a bit before serving so it’s good and creamy!
